Dreamy Kitties

I have been neglecting my poor little blog lately. I have just been so busy with work, projects, and enjoying the summer that took FOREVER to come to Portland. My first post in a while shows what I love to post about most, animals in fashion, more specifically cats, which I have posted about before here, here, and here. (I also posted about the Viktor and Rolf dress in the second photo here.) This one from Marie Clair China is super dreamy and of course the kittens are adorable. So little and white and fluffy!!! I am beginning to think that I might be turning into a crazy cat lady, but would that really be so bad?

Continuing with my adoration of all things feline (as seen here and there) here is the Fall 2010 catalog from Barneys New York. The photos as well as the narrative are so adorable!!!! I am not sure, but it seems that if a photo shoot with cats needs to be done, a Grey Gardens type of house is a requirement, which I don't mind at all. I especially like the doll house photo, and I am so in love with Lindsey Wixson!!!!

I am so in love with this editorial by Miles Aldridge from the May 2008 issue of Vogue Italia. Very Grey Gardens. It gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "Crazy Cat Lady." It makes me want to adopt a few more cats (I already have three) as well as a few more pomeranians, and just wonder around the house in colorful clothes. I love the cats with the guitars, the cat in the goggles, and the stuffed mice! I also love the little kitty harnesses, but my cats would never wear them.
