Olympia

Via vogue.co.uk
I have always been a huge Roxy Music fan, as well as a huge Kate Moss fan, so I was ecstatic when I saw this. This is gorgeous, and I like the nod back to the old Roxy Music album covers:
Apparently the photo shoot was a big deal too. The cover was inspired by the Édouard Manet painting of the same name and, "The designer, Gideon Ponte, built a glamorous set with the finest linen and the perfect bed," Ferry tells the Metro. "Shoes and dresses were flown in from Paris, jewellery escorted by security guards, flowers were everywhere and we had a supporting cast of thousands."
Only the best for Miss Moss and Mr. Ferry.

I am so loving these, especially the eyeliner in the pink shots. If I ever have two extra hours to get ready on a Friday night I might give that look a go.

First Look: Seth Aaron Inspired by SolarWorld for Portland Fashion Week

Photos by Quavando

These pictures were released yesterday previewing Seth Aaron's upcoming collection inspired by SolarWorld that will be featured at Portland Fashion Week on October 9th. I am loving what I am seeing! So angular! I am curious to know what kind of fabric this dress is made of, and I am even more curious about seeing the rest of the collection.

While Seth Aaron has definitely been taking up much of the spotlight of this year's PFW, there are plenty more amazing and talented designers that will be showing throughout the week. The full schedule can be viewed here and if you enter Elizabeth10 when you buy your tickets through the website you will get 10% off! This year's PFW is shaping up to be the best one yet so hurry and buy your tickets before they are gone!

Autumn on My Mind: Part I

The weather has turned rainy and dreary and while it pains me to think that Portland's "Summer" is over I am excited about tights, boots, coats, and other fall/winter wardrobe choices. Here are some looks that I am liking right now:

Hot Rock! Hot Fashion! Hot Models!

It doesn't get anymore rock and roll than this.

My fashion show is today and I am sooo excited. For this show we decided to go back to our roots and make it just about the clothes and the music. There is really no theme or set design, but that's okay because the stars of this show are the designers, and all of them are great!!!! If you live in Portland please try and come to Sweet F.A. It will be a night of fashion, music, and fun!!!!!!

Sweet Peek: Carolyn Hart

My next Sweet Peek features Carolyn Hart, another designer who has been with us pretty much from the beginning. Her clothing is always fun, flirty, and feminine and the collection she will be showing on Saturday is no exception. Here is what she has to say about her line:

"My name is Carolyn Hart and I am the proud designer of my women's wear line, Carolyn Hart!  I take pride in the fact that it is all made right here in Portland.  You will always find structure combined with a delicate touch.  My collections are for the woman with an energetic spirit and never ending passion for the things she loves ~ which is what I apply to each item I create!"

The show is on Saturday and I am pretty much burning the candles at both ends, but it's okay because I am doing what I love!!!! If you live in Portland I hope you plan on coming, it's going to be a blast!!!!!
