First Look: Seth Aaron Inspired by SolarWorld for Portland Fashion Week

Photos by Quavando

These pictures were released yesterday previewing Seth Aaron's upcoming collection inspired by SolarWorld that will be featured at Portland Fashion Week on October 9th. I am loving what I am seeing! So angular! I am curious to know what kind of fabric this dress is made of, and I am even more curious about seeing the rest of the collection.

While Seth Aaron has definitely been taking up much of the spotlight of this year's PFW, there are plenty more amazing and talented designers that will be showing throughout the week. The full schedule can be viewed here and if you enter Elizabeth10 when you buy your tickets through the website you will get 10% off! This year's PFW is shaping up to be the best one yet so hurry and buy your tickets before they are gone!

Seth Aaron+Portland Fashion Week+SolarWorld=Awesome!!!!!

At our weekly Portland Fashion Week meetings, Chris and Tito (Executive Producers of PFW) have been saying that they have a huge surprise, it's like the biggest thing that has ever happened to PFW, and they have been hanging it over our heads for weeks! We kept begging for them to tell us, but they couldn't because they still needed to get all of the details ironed out. Today I woke up to an e-mail written at 1AM by Tito finally revealing this news, but he said we could not say anything until the press release came out. Well the press release is out and here is the news, Seth Aaron Henderson (the winner of Project Runway Season 7) will be designing a collection inspired by SolarWorld for Portland Fashion Week! "The Seth Aaron SolarWorld Collection presented by Portland Fashion Week" will hit the black monocrystalline solar-panel runway at PFW on October 9 and I for one cannot wait to see it. I am very interested to see how the solar panels will inspire him. Maybe with the fabric? The silhouettes? The finishing techniques? A combination of all three? I am very excited to find out, and I am even more excited that I will be backstage immersed in all of the excitement. This promises to be the best PFW ever!!!!!!
